After a six-year gap between “Hostel: Part II” and “The Green Inferno,” out in September, Eli Roth is set to reteam with his “Aftershock” co-writers on the horror movie “Knock Knock,” according to TheWrap…
The “Hostel” filmmaker is set to direct the script he co-wrote with Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoedo and he will also produce it along with Colleen Camp, a veteran actress who can currently be seen in “American Hustle.”
Roth himself is the horror junkie behind “Cabin Fever” and “Hostel,” which helped establish him in the world of genre filmmaking. He has also co-starred in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”, produced “The Last Exorcism” and its sequel, RZA’s directorial debut “The Man With the Iron Fists,” Ti West’s upcoming thriller “The Sacrament,” the Netflix series “Hemlock Grove” and the low-budget genre movies “Clown” and “Aftershock.”
The story of “Knock Knock” follows two young girls who show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man where they seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life
“Knock Knock,” which is budgeted under $10 million, is scheduled to start production in April.
