Get your piano wire at the ready – the Audition remake is on the way.
Ah remakes, almost a sub-genre of their own now days. Takashi Miike’s violent tale about wife grooming finding the your love, by having them try out is creepy and has some of the more wince inducing moments you are likely to find.
Now the powers that be (Mario Kassar will be producing) have deemed that a remake is now happening. It will be based on the novel by Ryu Murakami but transported to an American setting. Richard Gray will direct with the shooting starting in the American autumn.
