The Mummy no longer under wraps…
The Mummy is being rebooted by Universal with Alex Kurtzman on board already as a producer and is partnering up with Chris Morgan. In what can be best described as an attempt to put together a monster squad (Wolfman, Dracula etc) using the template of how Marvel introduced everything then slammed it home with The Avengers.
There are no details yet except that the film is a present day actioner with horror elements…whatever that means. This film is the opener for this new ‘series’ so its going to have to be good! Here’s hoping it’s great and we get slew of excellent monster films!
