David leslie Johnson has been called in to rewrite of an early draft of The Conjuring 2 by James Wan and the writers of the first film, Carey and Chad Hayes. Whilst rewrites happen all the time this may not be a good sign for the film, however they do have some time up their sleeve with the release date marked down for June 10 2016.
