Another day, another reported remake. This time it’s The Entity, the supernatural tale of physical and sexual abuse, that was originally made in 1982, with Barbara Hershey. Now James Wan is in line to produce the remake with The Conjuring writers Chad & Carey Hayes on board to write the script. Wan is now a heavy hitter in Hollywood, that generally happens after consecutive films make 318 Million and 1 Billion dollars respectively, so Wan can do pretty much whatever he likes. Once again – as with every remake – this will be approached with trepidation.
