From The Press Release

Fresh from a nomination for Best Feature at London’s Crystal Palace International Film Festival, Anthony Stabley’s Everlasting returns to the States with two exciting Official Selections to start the New Year.

Everlasting is set to join Panic Fest (Feb. 5-7) in Kansas City, MO at the historic Screenland Armour Theatre. This busy three-day event spotlights horror, thriller and sci-fi genres and will also include live podcast with special guests.

Then on February 13, Everlasting will receive its Official U.S. Premiere in the magnificent Carolina Theatre at the 17th Annual Nevermore Film Festival on Feb 13, 2016 in Durham, North Carolina. Known as a “Feast of the Macabre”, this juried competition is one of the top genre festivals in the United States.

Stabley’s romance-thriller follows a HS Student (Adam David) as he journeys from Colorado to L.A. in order to find the truth behind the murder of his girlfriend (Valentina de Angelis). To date, Everlasting has garnered numerous stellar reviews from media outlets in the U.S., UK and Germany. The Horror Community, in particular, has extended its keen support for the film.

Ari Drew (Dread Central) says “Stabley’s film ultimately offers quite a bit more substance than first meets the eye – providing resonant drama and suspense.”

Jerry Smith (Icons of Fright) praised Everlasting as “An honest and heartfelt look at young love, and the darkness that engulfs people at time. It’s a film that stays with you long after it’s over.”

Writer-Director Anthony Stabley, who has worked as an Art Director for many years, initiated the project in 2011 with the help of Indie Producer / Casting Director Shannon Makhanian and long time collaborator Candi Guterres. “We are thrilled to be able to show Everlasting to American audiences. The Nevermore Film Festival and Panic Fest are perfect settings for us,” expressed Stabley.

Everlasting features a veteran supporting cast, which includes SAG Award Winner Elisabeth Rohm (American Hustle), Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills), Michael Massee (Seven), Robert LaSardo (Nip / Tuck) and Bai Ling (The Crow).

Songs by Crystal Castles, Cold Cave and L.A. Vampires accent a strong originalscore composed by Scott Gordon, David Levita of Criminal Minds fame.

Katie Young (Film Debate UK) expressed some final thoughts on the film, “There are no easy answers in Everlasting, but it serves as a thought-provoking, stylish, and haunting meditation on the underbelly of Tinseltown, and the double edged sword of getting what you wish for.”
