2022 Overlook Film Festival Opening Night Film And More Titles Announced!

Wait no further. The opening night film for the 2022 Overlook Film Festival has been announced.

The festival will open with the North American premiere of Ana Lily Amirpour’s MONA LISA AND THE BLOOD MOON. An incredible cast including Jeon Jong-soo, Kate Hudson and Craig Robinson make this violent, surreal, homegrown crowd-pleaser glow with the character of the city.

A Retrospective Journey

We all know that Overlook kills it on its selection of films and live experiences. This year, we will include a retrospective program to pay tribute to classic horror films and their respective anniversaries, including Häxan: Witchcraft Through The Ages (100th anniversary) – with live score by Think Less, Hear More, Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla (70th anniversary) – with special video introduction by Leonard & Jessie Maltin, and Sleepwalkers (30th anniversary).
