Clive Barker has confirmed that he has pitched a reboot of his 1987 movie Hellraiser and has been successful in getting it off the ground. He is working on the script and long time ‘pinhead’ Doug Bradley will return as the iconic acupuncture specialist.

Fans of the original, what do you think? A timely update or yet another pointless (see what I did there) remake? At least Barker is on board and has suggested that the film will be ‘darker and richer’ than the original although fans may prefer he work on something new and original, rather than revisiting past glories…
