Broad Green Pictures will produce and finance Jeremy Saulnier’s crime-thriller Green Room with Filmscience, set to be his follow-up to revenge tale Blue Ruin.
Anish Savjani and Neil Kopp of Filmscience will produce with BGP’s Victor Moyers. Gabriel and Daniel Hammond will be executive producing. Blue Ruin won the Fipresci Prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival after premiering in the Directors Fortnight and the Best Director Award at the Gijon International Film Festival.
Green Room centers on a punk rock band find themselves trapped in a secluded venue after stumbling upon an act of violence, fighting for their lives against a gang of white power skinheads.
The film slated to go in production in September.
