Respira (Breathe), the new film by Gabriel Grieco (Still Life, Hypersomnia) had its world premiere at BIFAN (Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival) in South Korea, one of the most important genre film festivals in the world.
“A third feature from the Argentinian director Gabriel Grieco, this is a gripping tale of a former commercial pilot turned fumigator in a remote town discovering the dark secret that jeopardize not only him and his family but also the entire village. Outstanding performances by Lautaro Delgado as the pilot Leonardo, Sofía Gala as Leticia and Leticia Bredice as mysterious townie lead the compelling cast.” (Jongsuk Thomas NAM).
Respira was selected in the Official Section of the Festival, World Fantastic Red, along with films by directors such as Jim Jarsmuch, Joe Dante and Hideo Nakata, among others. It should be noted that it was also one of the seven films in the section “Upcoming Fantastic Movies” at the Marché du Film (CANNES Film Festival) in 2018.

When he arrives at the place, he discovers that the previous pilot has disappeared. It is in a sinister situation, so the family will end up fighting to survive, trying to escape from this place.
