From the Press Release
The Final Girls Berlin Film Festival, a vital pillar for horror cinema created by women, trans, and non-binary filmmakers, has launched an urgent fundraiser to support its 2027 edition. Following the recent launch of their GoFundMe campaign, the festival is keeping the momentum going by opening a special eBay auction.
The auction features a collection of one-of-a-kind items generously donated by collaborators and artists within the community. All proceeds from the auction are dedicated to financing the 2027 festival. The auction is open to all bidders within the EU, with a closing date set for November 10, 2026.
How to Get Involved
Beyond the auction, the festival team is actively shaping the 2027 program and is calling on the community to participate:
Call for Horror Specialists: The festival is seeking experts and workshop leaders for the 2027 event (March 3-7, 2027). If you have a pitch for a talk (at least 45 minutes) or a workshop (60-80 minutes) focused on women in horror, submit your proposal by November 15, 2026, to finalgirlsfilmfest@gmail.com.
Film Submissions: The late deadline for film submissions is November 17, 2026. Submissions are being accepted via (https://filmfreeway.com).
Whether you bid in the auction, support via their Patreon or purchase merchandise from their online shop, your contributions are crucial to ensuring the festival continues to champion diverse voices in the horror genre.
