BEYOND METHUSELAH ASKS THE HARD QUESTIONS

Check out the trailer + details for Beyond Methuselah.

“How far will people go to defend their beliefs? And when does conviction become fanaticism?”

These are the burning questions at the heart of Beyond Methuselah, the new genre-defying indie film from Doubtless Dreamers arriving on DVD and Blu-ray this December 1st.

Synopsis: Three years ago, an experimental cancer treatment had an unexpected side effect: immortality. Some celebrate the discovery, while others oppose it as defying God’s will. When the treatment is made universally available, a group of extremists escalates the culture war into a bloody one. Two estranged sisters race to find their mother before the terrorists do, while their father wrestles with how the rhetoric from his pulpit might be complicit in the mounting violence.

“We set out to make a film that explores how loved ones are torn apart by ideology, and the slippery slope of righteousness,” said filmmaker April Grace Lowe.

The narrative centers on a family fractured by these radical ideals: a father realizing his own rhetoric fueled the fire, and two sisters caught in the crossfire as they race to find their mother before it’s too late.

The film is making its move to home release on December 1, with a TVOD release scheduled for early 2027. You can find more info, key art, and the trailer over at BeyondMethuselah.com
