We reported last week that the carnival setting was confirmed for American Horror Story season four…
Now Ryan Murphy has taken to Twitter to reveal that the next season of “American Horror Story” will be titled “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”
The 13 episode series, returning to TV this autumn, is set in Jupiter, Florida, in 1950. Jessica Lange plays a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S. and her group of “unusuals” – Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy – all play performers whom Lange’s character has rescued. According to EW, Denis O’Hare and the gorgeous Emma Roberts are also in talks to return.
We assume that there may be some further teasers revealed at Paleyfest when the creators, executive producers and members of the cast of season 3, Coven, are due to take to the stage this Friday.
